BLIND DUCK AND OTHERS

SEMINAR OF THE CROWS
Fruit and meat stalls are so tempting!
When the seminar ends,
crows fly down on the bits of meat
scattered around
Let them peck at half-rotten fruits

BLIND DUCK
In the moan of the wetlands
droplets of tears—
when the feet knot round
rotten paddies
the mad man pats his chest,
cuts loose a roar of laughter
when all gold sinks in the waters,
one need to keep sitting like
a blind duck

SHADOW-THOUGHT
The shadow I walk
is touching the soil

With an axe I come in the edge of
the river
see the river dead
With light in hand
I come near the road
See the road dark
Not even a shadow there
I come to the sky-line
Do not see the sky
planted on earth
I go in the thick of forest
See no fig flowers bloom
Where’s the shadow?
I don’t see any.
The shadow I walk
Ah, this touches the earth!

FEAST OF FORMULAS
In distorted chemistry
of the morning,
body of the grass
tastes tongue of snakes
The nails touch memories
of the slough
The water keeps the night afloat
And the machine keeps eyes awake
The sun dries out towel
of emptiness
In the cornice of glass
Vatsayan leaves behind a feast of
formulas

CELL-SEX
A snake keeps hiding
in the keyboard of the cell phone,
slowly enters the heart,
the cusp of kisses,
and the vagina…
the snake enters,
a multinational snake

from the night of coitus
falls conversation of
the dawn
