Professor Nazrul Islam, professor Raqibul Hasan and professor Israfil Hossain, among others, attended the virtual event. The programme was streamed on the Facebook page of Chintasutra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The awardees expressed their feelings after being named for the Chintasutra Sahitya Puraskar 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2018I have earlier received more than fifty awards at both home and abroad. An award always inspires the awardee to work hard. I am delighted to be named for the Chintasutra Sahitya Puraskar 2021,\u2019 said Mahmud Kamal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ruma Modak said, \u2018Literary awards given in Bangladesh have sparked a controversy over the past few years. Many have alleged that a few awards are not given neutrally.\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2018Chintasutra has named me the winner of the award in the fiction category. The news came as a pleasant surprise. I consider the award as one of my most important achievements as a writer,\u2019 added Ruma Modak.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anik Mahmud said, \u2018I have been writing ceaselessly for the past four decades.
